How does the animal travel?
Always secured. It depends on the vehicle, but the most common are an anchored carrier, a harness with the seatbelt or a boot divider, depending on the animal's size. Carrying a loose animal in the car is an offence and, in a sudden brake, it's the worst thing that can happen to them.
And if they get car sick?
It helps not to feed them right before, plus ventilation and smooth driving. If the sickness is bad, there's medication the vet prescribes and it's best given before the journey.
