Reactivity is almost never aggression: it's usually fear or frustration coming out through the same door. The work is about lowering the level of arousal and changing what your dog expects to happen, at distances they can handle. It's deliberately slow; rushing it makes it worse.

Does this mean my dog is aggressive?
Almost never. Most reactive dogs bark and pull to increase the distance, not to reach. It's fear or frustration, and it's treated differently from real aggression.
Can I keep walking them meanwhile?
Yes, but changing routes and times so as not to push them over their threshold every day. Every reactive episode leaves the dog wound up for hours and makes the next day's work harder.
How long does the process take?
Months, with progress and setbacks. It's one of the slowest kinds of work there is, and the most common mistake is speeding up as soon as you see one good week.
