The record book, any previous reports, and the list of what you give them, supplements included. And if you can, a photo or video of what worries you: many symptoms don't show up in the consulting room.
How long does the consultation last?
Fifteen to thirty minutes depending on the case. If tests are needed, they're usually booked separately or done on the spot if the practice has the equipment.
When is it an emergency rather than a consultation?
Difficulty breathing, a swollen hard abdomen, seizures, being unable to urinate, bleeding that won't stop, or a heavy blow. That doesn't wait for tomorrow's diary.
