Setting up services
Last updated July 2026
Only professionals (DomiKator) publish services: they’re what families see and book. Publishing them well — with a clear price, area and availability — is the best way to get requests. (Rescue charities, DomikONG, and families, Domisiker, don’t set up services.)
Personalise your guide
Tell us what you’re going to offer and we’ll tell you what to focus on.
What kind of service are you going to publish?
Step by step
Step 1 of 5
Open ‘Services’
In the side menu of your dashboard, go to ‘Services’ and tap ‘Create service’.
Creating a service
- In the side menu of your dashboard, go to ‘Services’.
- Tap ‘Create service’.
- Choose the type of service (dog walking, day care, boarding, grooming, veterinary care…).
- Give it a clear title and describe what it includes, which pets it’s for and any conditions.
- Set the price and the unit (per hour, per day, per session…).
- Save to publish it.
TipA specific title (‘45-minute walk around the city centre’) works better than a generic one (‘Walks’).
Price, area and conditions
Set each service up to match how you really work. You can edit these details at any time.
Your availability and calendar
Your availability stops requests arriving at times when you can’t take them. You manage it from your calendar.
- Open ‘Calendar’ in the side menu.
- Mark the days and time slots when you accept bookings.
- Block out holidays or days off so no requests reach you on those days.
- Save: families will only see slots that are genuinely free.
TipCheck your calendar every week. Up-to-date availability looks professional and cuts cancellations.
Activating, pausing or withdrawing a service
Run out of places, or want to stop offering something for a while? There’s no need to delete it: you can pause it and switch it back on when you have room again. From your list of services, open the one you want and change its status.
