Setting up profiles

Last updated July 2026

On Domisik every person and organisation has a profile, and every pet has one of their own. Your profile is your calling card: the more complete it is, the more trust you build and the better matches you’ll find.

Personalise your guide

Tell us what you want to set up and we’ll tell you where to start.

Which profile do you want to create?

Step by step

Step 1 of 5

Open the user menu

Sign in and tap your avatar, top right, to open the user menu.

Profile types

Before you start, it helps to know which profile is the right one for you. You can have more than one linked to your account and switch between them whenever you like.

Domisikerfamilies and people who look after a pet and are looking for services.
DomiKatorprofessionals who offer services (dog walking, day care, grooming, veterinary care, training…).
DomikONGrescue charities, shelters and animal welfare organisations.
DomiKynyour pet’s profile; it sits under your family profile.

Completing the sections of your account

Inside your account you’ll find several tabs. There’s no need to fill them all in at once: work through them at your own pace.

Basic detailspublic name, photo and introduction.
Contactemail and mobile (only used for alerts and verification).
Locationyour area, so we can show you nearby services and professionals.
Professional profileDomiKators only: qualifications, experience and specialisms.
Payment and billing methodsto take or make booking payments safely.
Mediaphotos that show off your work or your premises.

Adding your pet (DomiKyn)

If you’re a family, create a profile for each pet. That way professionals know their needs before a booking.

  1. From your account, go to the pets section and tap ‘Add pet’.
  2. Enter name, species, breed, age and size.
  3. Add any useful notes: temperament, allergies, medication or routines.
  4. Upload one or more photos and save.

TipKeep your DomiKyn’s health information up to date: it’s key to keeping their care safe.
